Internet Pure and Simple – Online Mini Class
Online independence is critical to reforming the online marketplace. This class is a first step. Once you learn a few things, you will find it easy to share with others and help shift a problematic that must be addressed for a new economy. It is not the only thing that must be done, but it is one of a constellation of activities. An infographic is in the works to present the vectors of engagement that the Institute recommends.

IT Privacy Introduction and Tuneups
– Get your tech culture GDPR compliant. It’s possible!
– Join online with others to learn a way forward beyond big tech.
– Depending on a range of factors, it may require two to three sessions to be on your way.
Affordable and Approachable – Everyone learns a bit differently. Patient and kind instruction.
- $10 a session in an online group of 6 to 12 people
- $25 a session for smaller groups of 3 to 5 people
- $75 for private consult (add $50 for two people)
GDPR stands for General Date Protection Regulation and is thus far the most stringent requirement to protect personal information online. Merchant services are provided through GDPR compliant merchant services, Stripe. Philantro was developed in U.S. for nonprofits and is now based in Great Britain. Despite Brexit, Great Britain and the Commonwealth continue to require GDPR in online communications. GDPR is more stringent than CCPA, California’s recently implemented California Consumer Privacy Act.

To get a head start, download Firefox and set DuckDuckGo as your default search engine. You might also wish learn more about why to use a VPN in light of the privacy policy issues of internet service providers. You can learn a great deal by simply reading privacy policies. To really get to the issue, skip to the sections about what and with whom data collected is shared. Also read up on the why, when and what of GDPR standards and requirements.
